Signing up for a Show
The Clue Collective schedules performances online through When I Work. All available shows and corresponding roles are posted once the show is confirmed with the client.
Role Categories
Shows can feature the following performance positions:
Detective/Show Captain
They are responsible for arranging rehearsal, calling the client to confirm details, picking up and transporting show materials to and from the show, show set up/breakdown and detecting the crime so all clues that lead to the killer are said aloud.
Host
They are responsible for act 1 facilitation, and being a character suspect of your choosing for the entire show, along with show set up/breakdown.
Suspect
They are responsible for playing one of the character suspects for the entire show, assisting with show set up/breakdown.

Rehearsal Options:
Prior to each performance, the cast participates in a rehearsal. This can be via zoom, email, phone or in person. These sessions are essential for a smooth and enjoyable show for you the actors as much as the guests.
Session Objectives
Character choice confirmation
We request you do not pick the person who dies or the person who is the murderer, but all others are fair game for host or character suspect roles.
Script customization review (if needed)
New venue and client information that the Show Captain gathered through the Client Call
What questions the detective will be asking any actors playing suspects
Run through of any particular bits the actors want to do
Roles for set up (especially if time is limited)
Coordination Responsibility
The Detective/Show Captain designated for each production is responsible for:
Scheduling the rehearsal
Overseeing the rehearsal process
Addressing any performance questions (and sending any back to Mylissa that cannot be answered)
Ensuring all actors are on the same page
For your first show, Mylissa will reach out to schedule a zoom so you can go over things one on one, for any future shows that you would like this, please reach out to Mylissa.
For solo shows, solo preparation is considered rehearsal!
