Terms and Conditions

Deposit:

Deposit is 50% of the total cost, due at time of booking in order to reserve your show date.

Final Payment:

Final Payment is the second 50% of the total cost, due two weeks before the show date. If you pay in totality, half of the amount is still considered the deposit, and half is considered the final payment.

Refund Policy:

Deposit is 100% refundable up until a month before the show. Deposit is 50% refundable up to two weeks before the show. Deposit is no longer refundable at two weeks before the show. Final payment, due two weeks before the show, is refundable up until show date. If we have not received your final payment three days before the show, your show will be cancelled. Due to the nature of our performances, we are unable to offer refunds in the event that a customer is dissatisfied with the outcome. We take pride in providing high-quality entertainment and do our best to ensure our clients are satisfied with their experience. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or technical difficulties that prevent us from delivering our services as promised, we will work with our clients to find a satisfactory resolution. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing our company for your event

Show Cancellation/Rescheduling:

The Clue Collective only cancels shows if it has not received the final payment three days before the show. If you would like to reschedule your show, please contact us for options. There may be a 10% service fee to reschedule. Shows cancelled up to a month before the show receive their entire deposit back; shows cancelled up to two weeks before the show receive 50% of their deposit back; last minute cancellations (up until show performance day), do not receive any of the deposit back, but the final payment is eligible for a refund. Refunds are not given in the case of shows unfinished due to disorderly conduct, requests to end early mid show, or delayed guest arrival that impacts the start of show.

Delayed Events Time:

If the event start time is delayed through no fault of The Clue Collective e.g. your guests have not arrived on time - we offer a half hour buffer to the start time. Any start time delay over half an hour will incur further costs for you to cover the actor/s time on site. The actor/s has the right to refuse to start the show later than half an hour without any refund offered.

Excessive Show Run Time:

If the event runs over four hours through no fault of The Clue Collective and this was not previously arranged e.g. you failed to advise us of a previously schedule performance in the middle of the show, you may incur further costs to cover the actors time on site.

Conditions of Sale:

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES ONLY AS OUTLINED IN REFUND POLICY. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND DANGER INCIDENTAL TO THE GAME, EXHIBITION, EVENT, OR PERFORMANCE WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING, OR AFTER SAID SHOW. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND DANGER OF INJURY AND YOU AGREE THAT THE MANAGEMENT, ITS AGENTS, AND THE PERFORMERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM SUCH CAUSES. NO DRUGS OR WEAPONS ALLOWED.

Because of the nature of the show, we expect and are accustomed to food and beverage (including alcohol) at our events. However, performers are not expected to handle drunk and/or disorderly guests. There is no reason to touch performers without their permission, ever. If a performer feels unsafe for any reason, they may stop the show, and/or leave the event. Management and/or performers reserve the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management and/or performers to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. Refunds are not given in the case of shows unfinished due to disorderly conduct, requests to end early mid-show, or delayed guest arrival that significantly impacts the start of show.

Buying a show means you and your guests consent to the use of your/their images or likenesses incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. We encourage you to take video and/or still photos for memories of your event. Actors expect to be photographed. If you would like your photos displayed by The Clue Collective, feel free to email them to us, or display them on social media and tag us: #thecluecollective

Shows and show materials are the property of The Clue Collective, and may not be reproduced. Show materials, not including programs, pens, and awards, should be returned to actors at end of show.

COVID-19:

The Clue Collective adheres to all CDC, California, and local health guidelines. In order to protect the health of our actors and your guests, we err on the side of caution at all times. All guests and actors must be compliant with venue/city/county/state regulations regarding social distancing and masking. Actors are vaccinated but may still choose to wear masks for their protection and yours. We expect groups that are eating to not be wearing masks. If there are unvaccinated people in your group, please have them wear masks.

You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness - including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19, or any other bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during or after the event, and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against The Clue Collective or actors, relating to such risks, hazards and dangers.

Casting:

We will do our best to take your recommendations for guest casting into consideration, however, due to the nature of our shows, someone from The Clue Collective will cast the show and this may not always match your requests.

Show Materials:

All materials brought to site by The Clue Collective (including by not limited to binders, decor, costumes, sound systems etc) are property of The Clue Collective and are required to be returned at the end of the show.
